Bonjour! Comment-ca-va? I look forward to seeing you during our Google Meet Conferences today!

Language Arts:

- Silent Reading - 20 minutes. Please be prepared to share a bit of information about the book you are currently reading today!

- Read-aloud - chapters 41 and 42. Google Classroom. Shared with permission from Scholastic.

- It's time to revise your essay. Read it over carefully several times - out loud! Look for:
     - sentence fluency (does each sentence make sense, do they connect smoothly with each other?)
     - proper paragraphs (the paragraphs should separated by a space; no need to indent)
     - word choice
     - spelling
     - capitals
     - punctuation
     - did you include direct quotes from youth activists, the people who work with them and/ or the people they've influenced?

Obviously look carefully to make sure it follows the proper essay format. Make sure you have:
     - an introductory paragraph with your thesis statement nestled inside it
     - body paragraphs (you should have 9 minimum - 3 for each point). The information in each paragraph should clearly support the point, as well as the thesis.
     - a conclusion

If you want to start constructing your bibliography, I've attached the link to Citefast in Google Classroom as well as a Website Link.
